Vice President & Chief Engineer

Meyer Steinberg is the Vice President and Chief Engineer of The HCE Company.

Mr. Steinberg is an engineer and a leading expert on hydrogen and carbon dioxide production from energy processes. He invented the Integrated Plasma Fuel Cell process.

Mr. Steinberg has published over 500 articles and holds 38 patents. He co-authored a book entitled "Greenhouse Gas CO2 Mitigation: The Science and Technology," Lewis Press (1999).

Formerly, Mr. Steinberg was a scientist at Brookhaven National Laboratory and a consultant to government and industry. When he left Brookhaven, he was Head of the Process Sciences Division of the Department of Applied Science.

Mr. Steinberg has many years of experience in a diverse field of science activities for the Federal Government dating as far back as the Manhattan Engineering District on the first atomic bomb.

Mr. Steinberg's other inventions and research work involve fossil fuel conversion processes, concrete polymer materials, nuclear energy safety, nuclear waste management, the use of fission and fusion reactors for synthetic carbonaceous fuel production, accelerator spallator for nuclear fuel production and transmutation of fission product waste, and reduction of nuclear weapons materials.
